Bouncy Park

Katie has been asking to go to the 'bouncy park' all week. We were finally able to go today, which made her very happy. It's a pretty fun time that includes all the inflatables, a toy room and a craft room. Since she is now the poster-child for the terrible twos, I am happy to take her anywhere that distracts her from being a terror :)

The Adventures of Katelyn and "Dad"

Our most recent adventure took place at the nearby Tom Sawyer State Park with a mission to reach the “blue park”.  It began on the “bumpy” and “muddy” trails, continuing through the “tree tunnels” and a stop by the magical “creek waters” to toss in some pennies for good luck on our journey. We pushed ahead with determination until we reached the rock wall – but it was no match for Katie, as she quickly made her way to the top.  Finally at the summit of the blue park, we had reached our destination.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Having fun outside...

Here’s Katie on her bear car made by “papa” McGrandpa. We made our way to the park.  Her favorite activity is throwing sticks in the creek – she’ll gather sticks all along the way walking to the park.  She’ll then play on the playground for about 5 minutes or so (picking up any sticks she finds to add to her pile) and then throws the sticks in the creek for 15-20 minutes.  Silly girl.
