Katie had a fun Pirates and Princesses birthday party to celebrate turning 5 years old! The Saturday before her birthday she invited friends from her Joy School and Church classes to come over for some games, pizza and cupcakes. It was a fun party!
On her actual Birthday she had dinner at Red Robin with the family, and was spoiled with more presents. She then came home to open more presents from our Arizona family. Spoiled, lucky little girl!

Pin the crown on the Princess- Princess was hand painted by KY grandma!
KY papa made Katie a beautiful dollhouse. Katie LOVES it. She recently told Jared that she plays with it all day, everyday!
January was a fun month. Both Kids started gymnastics. Katie is an old pro, this was William's first time. They both liked it, and I think we're going to do it again. Katie also started dance. She loves the fact that she gets to wear a tutu and watch herself dance in front of huge mirrors ;)
We had a little bit of snow one weekend. The kids liked to play out in it. Poor William doesn't have any boots...so he was wearing some of Katie's old pink ones. Poor boy. We also lost his black gloves, so he had some pink ones to match his boots.
William's coach always has the kids walk in a line and pretend to be a choochoo when they move from one station to the next. William takes this very seriously, all the choochoo noises are coming from him.

Santa brought Katie a big girl bike for Christmas, complete with training wheels. Well, the training wheels didn't last long with Katie. She decided she wanted to ride without them, and she hasn't looked back since. She's getting too big!!
