Katie's new favorite past-time is to pick up acorns in the back and front yard while Jared works outside. Today she discovered that she also likes to rub dirt all over herself.....

Zoo

We hadn't been to the zoo since before William made his arrival. I've been having guilt for keeping katie cooped up in the house with me while I hide away from people who will stare at my fatness. Anylame, I didn't get many pics, but thought it was cute that Katie and her friend Bella were holding hands :)

New Time

Our church time recently changed to the afternoon...needless to say we all go without our naps. Katie passed out after church this past Sunday :) She made sure she had her herd around her- 'B', new 'B' and zebra dog.

Katie is currently obsessed with the Nick Jr. show 'Backyardigans'. She loves singing and dancing to the songs they sing. Jared was able to secretly record her dancing to one of her favorite episodes 'Pirate Treasure'. We downloaded some episodes so she could watch them on the computer. This kid is a riot!

William- 4 Weeks old!

Hello all! I have not been good at the blogging since the boy made his arrival. I guess after 4 weeks I need to start being part of the world and not the hermit I've become the past weeks. Anywho, here's some things about William's little baby personality that I need to write down, or I will forget ;)

He is spoiled! For the two weeks grandma and aunt Melissa were here he got so used to being held that he will not sleep in his bassinet anymore, he ONLY sleeps in his swing or in my arms. So, the swing is on all night while he sleeps away :) I'll hold him during the day if I'm not too tired and in need of my own nap.

He is loud! He doesn't cry much, but when he does it is very, very loud. This kid can yell!

He is gassy ;) I stopped giving him gas medicine last weekend- big mistake. He was a totally different baby. He did not sleep and he was constantly fussy. I started giving him the medicine again and he's back to my sweet little William. Poor kid needs some help with his gas!

He keeps me guessing- I never know how long this kid will sleep at night. Some nights he goes for 7 hours, other nights he's up every 3. I just never know!

He's the sweetest little boy ever! Between his fat cheeks, long fingers and toes and his beautiful gassy smiles, I can't get enough of this little baby. He's a fantastic eater, he loves to listen to Katie's voice and he prefers to snuggle with mommy over daddy ;) Since Katie is such a huge daddy's girl, it's nice to have one kid who prefers mommy every know and then!
