Labor of Love :)

So, we bought a house here in Louisville and it needed (and still needs) a good amount of work. So far we have painted, put down wood floors, raised cabinets, installed a microwave, new closet shelves....and the list goes on. We are waiting on a new countertop, carpet, front door, and the back room is where wood panneling goes to die. Well, it's starting to come together now (aside from the mess) and we are extremely thankful to our family for all their help in getting this together.

Huge thanks to all of Jared's brothers for helping paint, move, paint, move and more painting. Big, big thanks to Jared's dad for all his work while we were in AZ, as well as being a huge help with taking down and raising the kitchen cabinets (so we could have a microwave installed). More Thanks to Nathan and Jenna with help with the wood floor and painting. Nathan is actually making the new Kitchen countertop for us as well, which we are really excited about. Giagantic thanks to Melissa for being our own personal Daycare for 3 days while we moved. She watched Katie for us which was such a big help to not worry about Katie while all this was going on.

Last but not least, thank you so much to my mom and dad for all their love and support. We have a fridge and the ability to pay our closing costs thanks to them. We owe them more thanks than I can type out on a blog ;)

While Jared and I are extremely proud and happy to have our home, we could not do this without our families making it possible. Thank you to everyone for all of your help! We love you and couldn't do this without you :)

It looks so cute! New paint always makes things feel so much more your own. I wish you all the best with the rest of the house. All of the hard work is worth it. You have a great family around you!
