4th of July

Hot, hot, hot...sweaty, humid and hot.  That's how our 4th was this year.  We had outside events all day long...and it was hot.  Katie was very excited to be in one of the small, local parades this year.  We decorated her scooter, dressed up in red, white and blue and scooted down the parade route.  Jared informed me that he carried the scooter most of the way, while Katie stopped to pick up the candy that was thrown from the floats at the front of the parade.  The girl loves her some free candy.  She managed to hop back on at the end, so mommy could see her finish the parade!  William had an easy ride in his cozy coupe.  The kid has a nice life.
