Picture/Video Preface
I just have to explain that in a lot of these pictures Katie is clad only in her diaper. I swear we dress her cute and she always looks adorable, but we usually have the camera out after dinner or right before bath/bedtime and that's usually when she roams the house in her underwear. Also, I don't like her to eat in her super cute clothes, so if it's post-dinner time, she's probably in a diaper :)
Katie loves her magnetic fridge toy her friend Bella gave her for her birthday. She makes a beeline for it every time she is in the kitchen!
Katie loves to throw her beloved bear out of the crib, then she'll cry and whine for it until we eventually come in the room to give her bear and/or pick Katie up. It's her best stalling method during nap-time. Jared snapped a couple of pics of Katie 'reaching' for her bear (trying to make amends for throwing her overboard)
This past Friday night Katie decided to power-slam some goldfish crackers. I swear she stuffed 15 in her mouth at one time (baby-sized goldfishies, if that makes it better) We were laughing so hard we almost missed getting a picture. This is her little face stuffed with goldfish! There is a video to follow of her slamming some more :)
Fun times at the park. I'm so glad our new house is right next to a cute little park. Katie and I have walked over there twice since we've had some nice weather. Katie likes to swing!
Katie decided that her toy baby stroller started acting like a real stroller. She was trying to crawl in it tonight and thankfully we got it a picture of it! She is so funny!
While we were cleaning up Katie's room before bedtime tonight, she insisted on wearing her pink vest. She wouldn't let me take it off of her to put her PJ's on! She was hugging it and loving on it. Thanks to Aunt Rachel for the pink vest, Katie clearly loves it :)
Brown Bear, Brown Bear...
Katie is in LOVE with this book. We read it to her at least 10 times a day, back to back readings. I had to hide it today, but busted it out at bedtime to get her settled down. She loves this book!
Katie swinging at the park:
Katie power-slamming goldfish and dancing:
Katie 'walking' down the hallway:
Katie playing hide-and-seek by shutting the door (funny side-note, ever since Jared put the wood transition pieces down in the bedrooms, Katie won't crawl over them head first, she has to turn around and go over them backwards...I guess because they have a slight slant to them, she's a funny girl!):
